Committees

  Architectural

This committee, with the President of the Board of Directors at its helm, is responsible for ensuring all homes and landscaping in Random Oaks remain in compliance with the community by-laws and covenants. They accomplish this through careful evaluation of all submitted requests for structural or aesthetic changes to homes or landscaping. Approval of the requested change is awarded based on the established community standards.

Deed Restriction

This committee works closely in conjunction with the property management company to ensure that all provisions of the deed restrictions/covenants as well as county codes are upheld in order to maintain the overall neat and attractive appearance that has become Random Oaks’ hallmark.

Safety/Neighborhood Watch

This committee is ever vigilant in coordinating with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office to provide Random Oaks’ residents with the most up-to-date information concerning crime in the areas surrounding our community. Their efforts have contributed greatly to the fact that Random Oaks has experienced an almost negligible amount of crime. They meet on the second Tuesday of each month.

Special Activities

This committee is, in large part, what differentiates Random Oaks from many other communities. They plan activities intended to bring neighbors together for the purpose of having some fun (usually involving food!) and getting to know each other. Their innovative “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” program enables residents who require assistance with such things as lawn maintenance, pressure washing, etc. to receive help free-of-charge from their neighbors rather than having to pay for assistance. The committee oversees the Yard of the Month Award and the community volunteer program.
